A couple weeks ago, when I took Elizabeth's maternity pictures.... her mom casually brought the idea of me possibly taking pictures in the delivery room. I jumped on it. I have dreamed of taking pictures of a live birth. From that point on, every couple of days I would text her "is it baby day yet? :)". She would always reply "no, not yet. :(". Then, one day I woke up to a text....
IT WAS BABY DAY! I programmed my GPS to take me to the hospital and I was there within an hour. I got to see everything: all of the anticipation, the joy, the sweet relief in the mother's eyes when it was all over. I love it. I love my job. I love that I get to be a part of someone's life in such an intimate and beautiful way. Much love to the Juarez family. xoxo.
I can hear your voice saying, "I love me some baby feet!" : )

I am so proud of you! I loved all the pictures, but I can't resist the first cry on the top right. It's such an honor to be invited into people's lives like that. I wish you had taken the pictures when you were with me watching Cooper and Kenzie being born. Love, Mommy
